Font (serif? sans serif?)

Hi

This font seems to be related to Newtext but the horizontal bar in the G and E don’t have the same shape. Are there any modified versions? I have searched but can’t find any

I believe you are correct that this is a modified version of Newtext. The number 1 also appears to be different. It is possible it is a custom version modified by a specific monument company and not something you will find commercially available.
