MLC Inscription Matching Service Terms and Conditions

By using the inscription matching service you agree to provide accurate information to the MLC for the purposes of creating a digital file for engraving. This may include but is not limited to the size of lettering needed, stone size (or other material to be engraved), and information (in the form of letters/numbers) desired to be engraved.
You will not hold the MLC or Brandon Billester responsible for any mistakes or errors in the digital file(s) provided through the Inscription Matching Service. You accept all responsibility for accurateness of the information to be engraved, and will double check for any errors of information in the digital file(s) provided by the MLC prior to engraving. You accept the sole responsibility of any mistakes or errors made in the final engraving of the stone or other surface to be engraved.
MLC Font Software End User License Agreement

By downloading, installing and/or embedding any font software (“Font” or “Fonts”) offered through the Monument Lettering Center (“MLC”) or other website, you (“The Licensee”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this End User Licensing Agreement (“Agreement”). This Agreement supersedes any other prior version, or other Agreement that may have been included with downloaded MLC Fonts or previously displayed, in whole or in part, on the MLC website (www.monumentletteringcenter.com).
LICENSE
Purchasing a license from the MLC does not constitute a sale of the Font software, all MLC Fonts remain the sole and exclusive property of their author, Brandon Billester (“The Author”). MLC Fonts MAY NOT be used without first purchasing a license to do so. This Agreement grants The Licensee the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use MLC Fonts downloaded with each license only in accordance with the following usage restrictions:
NUMBER OF USERS
The total number of users allowed to simultaneously use a licensed MLC Font is 5 at one site. A site is defined as a physical location, as in the case of a household, business or organization. The Fonts included with the license may be installed or stored on no more than 8 devices at one site. At no time may the Font software be stored, installed or used at multiple locations, unless the devices in use are owned by The Licensee, and associated with the primary licensed location, as in the case of a laptop computer. Temporarily working offsite on a laptop computer or other mobile device is regarded as an extension of the licensed site. If The Licensee wishes to allow for more users per site to use MLC Fonts, each license purchased will allow for up to 5 users and up to 8 devices per site for the Fonts downloaded with the license. If The Licensee wishes to allow for the use of MLC Fonts at multiple site locations, a new license must be purchased for each site.
USAGE & MODIFICATION
The Licensee may use licensed MLC Fonts to create an endless amount of physical or digital materials for personal or commercial use, where the end user does not have the ability to use the Font. Embedding an MLC Font into digital materials such as PDF documents is only allowed where the end user can view or print, but cannot edit the content. MLC Fonts MAY NOT under any circumstances be embedded into software or hardware products in which the Fonts will be used by the purchasers of the products.
The Licensee may only import and thereby change the Font into a third-party computer program or other software where the sole purpose of the software is for creating graphical designs; and said software is needed by The Licensee for the production of physical materials or products, such as sandblast stencil, vinyl stickers, or t-shirt. In this case any derivative or modified version of the Font file created remains under the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and remains the sole and exclusive property of the Author.
MLC Fonts may be used to create EPS or other scalable vector files provided that the editable versions are only used by the licensed household, company, or organization. Any version of these files distributed to an outside entity must first be expanded or converted to outlines.
MLC Fonts MAY NOT be linked to or embedded in websites, and webfont versions may not be created for web use.
The Licensee MAY NOT redistribute, sell, or in any other way transfer MLC Fonts to another entity, organization, or individual. If The Licensee no longer wishes to use MLC Fonts for any reason, or does not wish to be bound by this Agreement, The Licensee must immediately uninstall and delete all copies of Fonts stored or installed on all devices.
COPYRIGHT
MLC Fonts are protected by copyright law. The Author is the sole, exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights, including rights under copyright and trademark law. The Licensee agrees not to use the Font in any manner that infringes the intellectual property rights of The Author or violates the terms of this Agreement.
DISCLAIMER & WARRANTY
Though The Author of the Fonts offered by the MLC goes to great lengths to create suitable Fonts, The Author makes no warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied of its Fonts or Font features. The Licensee assumes and accepts full risk as to the quality or performance of MLC Fonts for The Licensee’s intended use. The Author does not warrant that the Fonts will meet The Licensee’s expectations or desires or that the operation of MLC Fonts and features will be uninterrupted or without error.
The Licensee shall not hold the Author of MLC Fonts to be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including damages from loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or other damages) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Fonts.
The Licensee retains no right to receive new copies of Fonts previously downloaded from the MLC website for any reason, including the loss or corruption of Font files by The Licensee.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States of America and of the state of Washington.
If any terms or conditions of this Agreement are found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then they shall be removed from it, and the validity of the remaining terms and conditions set forth by this Agreement shall not be affected.
