Font identification

Can anyone identify the font on this monument.  I believe its similar to Garamond or Times New Roman but I can’t seem to match it specifically.

Unfortunately, this is not something I recognize at first glance, and due to the quality of the image it is difficult to see detail in the letters that might help with a potentially font id. If you have any close-up images, that may be helpful.

Thank you for looking at the monument.  Its pretty dirty.  We had trouble obtaining a good photograph and rub.  I’m attaching the rub to see if any of the characters are recognizable.  Otherwise, may have to send staff to clean the monument.  We really appreciate any guidance.
