    I am trying to match this roman type font so i can make a matching headstone

    it appears to be handcut at the very least since there is quite a bit of inconsistency in the R’s and E’s

    Good afternoon, this appears to be a version of the Spacerite Modified Roman alphabet. Like you mentioned, it looks like it has been hand-cut, or at least hand-painted.

    The Spacerite Modified Roman has the “double V” ‘W’s like this. there are also a few digital versions of Modified Roman out there that contain this style of ‘W’.
