ParticipantI figured it out.

ParticipantI ended up redrawing everything on the transfer paper, on my iPad. Then, I used ChatGPT to create the other letters I needed. They weren’t perfect, but close enough that I could modify in Illustrator and Frankenstein a pretty good inscription.

ParticipantWell, you’ll definitely have a sale when you get it finished.

ParticipantI did a little more research and found out who made the original stone and reached out to a person there. She did some digging and found out it was a custom font created from a combination of Zapf Chancery and Old English which they then hand cut. But unfortunately, that does me no good. So…I’ll have to draw everything in Illustrator using the letters and numbers currently on the stone and improvise the rest.

ParticipantDecided to have them bring the marker to the cemetery I work at so I can have better access to it. I’ll be able to redraw from there. Thanks for the info.

ParticipantI do have a font on my machine that has similarities called Freytag LT Regular. I might just have to make this a Frankenstein situation of multiple fonts for one inscription. I wanted to check first before I went through that tedious process. Thank you for the help! I appreciate it.

ParticipantThat seems to be the case at this cemetery. Thanks for the info, as always.
